What is Socially Shaker?

Socially Shaker is a themed party organized by the SRS PTG and Shaker Road School for SRS parents, teachers, and staff that includes dessert, music, cash bar, raffles, and silent auction! All proceeds from Socially Shaker 2024 benefit the Robert S. Hicks Scholarship Fund.

What is the Robert S. Hicks Scholarship Fund?

Named in memory of the late Robert Hicks, original owner of the SRS property and grandfather of current principal, Matthew Hicks. Robert loved children and was dedicated to the success of all SRS students. The fund provides financial assistance to those who may not be able to afford annual tuition. Every year, funds are allocated to deserving students who contribute to making SRS the community of learning that it is today.

How to get involved:

Purchase your tickets and come to the event!
We hope to see as many parents from the Infant Program through Eighth Grade there!

Donate to your classroom’s raffle basket
We are asking each classroom to organize a themed basket to be raffled off on the night of Socially Shaker. Stay tuned for more information from your child’s classroom teacher. Any sized donation to your classroom’s basket is appreciated!

The PTG welcomes help planning and running the event and will be sharing information about volunteer opportunities via email with parents in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
