Public Member

Terry Odell is the public member of the Advisory Board. She is a former teacher of 30 years, having previously worked at Bishop Brady High School. Terry spent several years at Concord Hospital as a Spiritual Care Counselor and Patient Relations Coordinator before leaving to pursue a Seminary education leading to ordination as an interfaith minister. She specializes in celebrations of life and personally designed sacred ceremonies. When the middle school grades were added nearly 30 years ago, Terry worked to help establish the advisory program by providing training for teachers. She has been profiled in the Concord Monitor, New Hampshire Magazine, and the Concord Insider.

Terry brings a different perspective to the Advisory Board. At one point, Terry was a grandparent in the school community, but her affiliation is more through her personal relationships with a couple of teachers and administrators. Terry greatly benefits the Board through her thoughtful questions and unique perspectives. She is deeply interested in mental health and the school’s work with social-emotional learning. Terry has two grown children and four grandchildren. She lives in Penacook with her husband. In her limited free time, she loves spending time with her grandchildren.
