Sherry is a former Shaker Road School parent. Her son was a member of the Class of 2024. Sherry earned a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire and an MBA in Leadership from Franklin Pierce University. She has worn many hats for the Gentex Corporation and is currently part of its leadership team working to grow the business and develop employees, among other responsibilities. Sherry’s experience in business and human resources has benefited SRS greatly during her time on the Board. For many years, Sherry was a member and President of SRS’s Parent Teacher Group (PTG), serving as that group’s position on the Advisory Board.
Initially, Sherry and her husband chose SRS for the extended hours and nurturing environment. Quickly, they felt part of the SRS family. Sherry appreciates SRS’s focus on social development, strong academics and extended day opportunities, and the monthly citizenship themes and advisories. She joined the PTG to give back to the school and continues that work on the Advisory Board. Personally, Sherry loves the seasons in New Hampshire for skiing, hiking, boating, sports, and many other family activities. Her favorite time is spent with family and friends, and her dog Zeke.
