Kristyn LaRochelle is the faculty representative to the Advisory Board (2023-2025). Kristyn came to work at Shaker Road School in the summer between high school and college. Her talent for working with children was quickly evident. After graduating from Plymouth State University with a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Kristyn began her teaching career at SRS. While teaching, Kristyn also earned a master’s degree in reading and writing and is one of the school’s reading specialists. She has thrived as an elementary grades teacher and has assumed more administrative responsibilities in recent years. Her intelligence and quick wit make her a favorite with the students and her colleagues. When not at school, Kristyn wrangles her two young boys and enjoys being outdoors camping and canoeing, puzzling, and reading.
