Bethany is a current Shaker Road School parent and brings a wealth of experience in K-12 schools to the SRS Advisory Board. A full-time Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice (DEIJ) practitioner, she has spent her career advocating for educational equity and opportunities. A servant leader, her work has included grant writing, enrollment management, program design and implementation, community outreach, and fostering a culture of belonging in several independent schools. Bethany earned a B.A. from University of Virginia and an M.P.P. from Georgetown University. Currently, she is the Director of DEIJ Initiatives at St. Paul’s School, located in Concord. She is humbled and honored to serve as an active member of the SRS Advisory Board, as the institution works to evolve and enhance its capacity to be responsive to the SRS community. With joy, Bethany also serves as a JV Field Hockey coach and adviser at St. Paul’s School. She loves going on family adventures and is an avid walker, reader, and education advocate.
