P’10

Roger was a long-serving elementary grades teacher at Shaker Road School and former parent of a 2010 graduate. Roger graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from Notre Dame College and an M.Ed. in Education with a principal certification from Rivier University. Roger came to teaching later in life, after a successful career in construction. During his years at SRS, Roger was known for his strong work ethic and love of children. Always an early riser, Roger would be at school before most others, often before dawn. Roger never rested. When SRS alumni remember their years at SRS, they often reflect that Roger was one of their best and most passionate teachers. Upon his retirement from teaching, Roger quickly returned to SRS to use his construction knowledge for campus projects. He is credited with renovating student spaces like the Maker Space, Student Lounge, and the Woodshop, and the less glamorous projects that go unnoticed by most passersby. In his free time, Roger spends time with family, enjoys walking and hiking, and is a devoted follower of the New England Patriots.
