What a wonderful evening celebrating our music lesson students at last Thursday’s annual spring recitals! A total of 85 out of 100 lesson students participated—or will participate—in recitals this spring, performing on instruments including piano, saxophone, drums, flute, clarinet, synthesizer, guitar, and voice. Thursday's program featured several duets—including performances with a parent and a grandparent—as well as a Middle School ensemble (plus an alum!).![]()

It’s always bittersweet, as this marks the final SRS recital for our Eighth Grade students. We’ve enjoyed watching them grow musically since Kindergarten! Stay tuned for clips of our Seventh and Eighth Grade students—you’re in for a treat!![]()

It’s flag football season at Shaker Road School! Once the field dries out in the spring, our four teams—(Release the) Kraken, Minotaurs, Centaurs, and Phoenix—face off in weekly regular-season games. The season builds toward playoffs in early June, followed by the Shaker Bowl on the last day of school. Catch the action on Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 3:45 PM!
